As a believer, there are areas you should keep believing God for promotion since he had promised, it obviously shall come to pass, the areas are:
Spiritual Life
This is where a good number of believers struggle to grow, we often neglect this level of growth. Let me tell you a secret if you are promoted spiritually, there is no degree of promotion you will look for, you will not find. According to Matthew 6:33, for us to be able to get any other thing that pertains to life, we must, first of all, seek the kingdom of God.
If we seek the kingdom of God, if we seek promotion spiritually, every other promotion shall be open to us. This is God’s greatest promise to us. I have made up my mind to seek spiritual promotion today. I pray you should be able to do the same.
Marital Life
I know you are probably asking some questions like how will God promote me in marriage, is he going to give me more husband or wife? That is funny. This is not the marital promotion we are talking about. Marital promotion could come as a result of fruitful marriage. When God gives you your child in marriage, that’s a promotion, a very great one at that. I pray God perfects that which concerns you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Business and Career
This is where our focus will be on more, any time anyone talks about promotion, the first area that comes to our mind is the area that has to do with our finance. According to Psalm 35:27, God delights in the prosperity of his people. 1. Accept Christ as your Lord and Savior: Promotion comes from God alone, knowing and accepting his son Jesus Christ gives you upon hand on earth. Do not let anyone convince you, life is more spiritual than it is physical. If you choose to work alone, sooner or later, you will live to pay the price. According to John 14:6, Jesus Christ is the easy, the truth and the light.
No one gets to God except he passes through him. Being the way means you can not climb your way to the top without him, being the light shows that you can not get the desired promotions in life without the light of God shining your way. Accept today as your Saviour, then wait and see him make things work for you.
2. Love God wholeheartedly: It is funny how people want to get favour from God, but yet, they do not love him. Love him, not for what he will do for you, but for who he is. According to Romans 8:28, all things work concurrently for the good of those who love God. There is no good thing you will need in life which God will deny you, simply because you love him.
Are you looking for a promotion in your office, in your finance, academically, etc.? God is capable of doing it within a twinkle of an eye. According to Psalm 91:14-16, since you have set your love upon him (God), he will deliver you and set you on high. In my word, I would say, since you love God, he will promote you, and he will never abandon you.
3. Seek the Will of God in all you God: God can not get involved in what he is not involved in. In another word, God does not come in if you do not invite him. Before you engage in anything, seek to know what God says about it. That way, you can move him to promote you anytime you need a promotion. This is the secret of a lot of men who make a great impact in life.
4. See God as your motive for seeking promotion: Do you know that you can not get the needed promotion in your life or office if your motives are wrong? This is certainly true. For you to be able to get the desired results, do it to glorify God. Support God’s work, give to charity organizations and pay all your dues in accordance to your believe, and promotion is not far from you.
5. Trust In God: According to Proverb 3: 5, You are to trust in God with all your heart, do not trust in your understanding, a fool says, “my hard work had given me this promotion”, he is not wise. The day you start trusting in God for something, he will always come through for you.
