Prayer For Revival – The recent pandemic, kidnappings, and killings in some parts of the globe indicate that the land is sick and there is a need for restoration of peace. Whether you like it or not, God, the creator of heaven and earth is the only one that can heal the land. Hence there is a need for revival prayer in our land. 

He said if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive them and heal their land 2 Chronicles 7:14. This means when you acknowledge that you are a sinner, ask God for the forgiveness of sin, and pray for the revival he will heal your land.

Do you know your land could be your job, marriage, carrier, home, business, academics, or anything? You need prayer for revival to restore everything dead or stolen which is supposed to be fruitful and functional.

Revival is also a means of recharging ourselves in the Lord, the Church needs it for Growth, the nation needs it for healing, you need it I need it and we all need revival prayer. A dry plant cannot bring out any fruit until it can absorb water, not once or twice but consistently. In the same way, we need continuous revival to function according to God’s purpose.

Don’t wait for things to get worse before you pray for revival, check yourself daily, assess yourself regularly to know if you are still on the right track in the Lord. Why You Need Continous Prayer For Revival

Revival can have separate meanings to a different individual, but we will try to cover the different contexts of revival in the Bible. 

In Gen 25: 27 “But when they told him everything Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the carts Joseph had sent to carry him back, the spirit of their father Jacob revived”. Here, it means restoration. – the spirit of Jacob restored.

2 Timothy 1:6 For this reason I remind you to keep alive the gift that God gave you when I laid my hands on you. – Keep the fire of God burning.

The Psalmist says Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?

He understands the need for revival. You cannot enjoy Christ if you are stirring up your flame. It is that flame that will consume, sin, enemies, sickness, cobwebs, and evil attacks. The gift of the Holy Spirit will be flowing like a river, and you will be experiencing the inner joy that no one can explain. 

On the other hand, the prayer for revival awakes those that are sleeping. Spiritual sleep is a sickness the devil uses to attack the children of God. The zeal for the things of God will disappear, you will be so cold to the extent that praying will become a problem. Gradually, you are opening the door for sin, sickness, satanic arrow, and all those things you once rejected will penetrate easily. If care is not taken, you will backslide.

It does not matter the position you are holding in church or your spiritual level in christ, you need constant revival to keep you going, so also the Church of God. A church where there is no revival will accommodate all kinds of spirit, the Spirit of God will be absent. Immorality, worldliness, hate, anger, betrayal, and all kind of sin will be the order of the day. The preaching will lack conviction and fire, there will be no word of God. We all need prayer for revival daily. Revival keeps you on fire for Christ. Brings joy and happiness.

7. Oh Lord, let your revival raise new soldiers of Christ. Equip them with your gift and your spirit to carry out heavenly responsibilities.

8. Father, touch the hearts of the young and old, let them submit to your authority. And let your love radiate among individuals and every family.

9. Oh Lord, your fire of revival in our church will ignite powerfully and win souls for your kingdom. Help us to be heavenly-minded and not worldly-minded.

1. Oh Lord, our land needs your fire, revive us from killings and kidnapping. Flush every satanic agent that is against the peace of our land with your fire and let us have fresh breath.

3. Revive the hearts of our leaders with your fire, put your fear in them and let them have compassion over the citizens.
4. Wash the sins of our Land away Oh lord and be compassionate unto us. Help us to turn from our wicked ways and revive all of us today Oh Lord we pray.
5. Bless this Land Oh Lord and let it begin to flow with milk and honey. Revive our economy and let the rain of comfort fall on our land Oh Lord our God.
6. Father, let your Kingdom reign our nation and let the whole world know that all power in heaven and earth belongs to you.
7. Visit this land in a new dimension Oh lord, break the yolk of sin and have your way in Jesus’ name.
8. Revive every sector that is dead in this Land. Help them to start functioning. Lift every satanic embargo placed on them Oh Lord. Rescue this land from satanic agents and let us have peace of mind.
9. You own the heart of a King, visit our leaders with your revival, and let them begin to do what is right. Grant them the wisdom to lead us right.
