Contextually, Jesus Christ was at a wedding in Cana. Unfortunately, they had no more wine to serve guests. Jesus’s mother, Mary”, informed Jesus on the shortage of wine. She further told His disciples to obey and carry out any instruction for Him.

When you read further, Jesus asked His disciples to bring the empty jars and fill them with water, and behold, he turned the water in the pot into wine. Looking at this critically, you will understand that this is beyond ordinary and not magical, leading us to the definition of a miracle.

Biblically, a miracle can be defined as an extraordinary event that occurs through divine intervention. 

From the bible passage, John 2: The people at the wedding in Cana lack wine (Lack), no money to buy ( No alternative), and someone in the gathering (Mary) knows the capability of Jesus Christ and His supernatural Powers.

In other words, we all need miracles in situations beyond our control. Miracle prayer is what you need when there is no way, and things seem to work against you. Prayers for miracle are intentional suplications and not just regular prayers.

How to Pray For Miracle

Before you embark on miracle prayers that work, here are steps to take: We outline a few of them here to prepare you and your mind before praying for a miracle.

Identify where you need a miracle

Firstly, there must be a specific cogent need. It might be financially, medically, academically, about your children, friends and family, career, and much more. At the wedding in Canan, Jesus Christ was not called to come and pray for the groom, nor was he called to bless the union, which would have been more critical. They only wanted the wine at that moment, and nothing else was requested.

Therefore, identify one area you need help fixing. You’re powerless, and your effort proves abortive. Maybe you have health challenges, and the doctor’s report says no way; a miracle can happen.

Have strong faith in God

Upholding your faith in God in difficult times is a great weapon to win decisive battles. The devil always comes around when things seem not to be working to derail you from Christ by whispering discouraging words. The aim is to weaken you spiritually so you won’t be able to pray. Meanwhile, that’s when you are supposed to be more fervent in prayers.

This is where your faith determines your stand. If you are still a baby Christian, it is easy to slip away when challenges appear, But when you hold firm to your faith and pray for a miracle, trust me, you will put the devil to shame. Regardless of what you are going through,  keep the fire of your faith and prayer burning, and never relent.

John 14:12 says,” Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” Now that Jesus has gone to the Father, he equipped us through the holy spirit to Conquer, destroy, and uplift.

Embark on three days of fasting and praying on miracle prayers, read Psalm 109 daily before you start praying each day, and pray fervently without distraction.

According to Isaiah 53: 5, By His stripes, we are healed: Oh Lord, let the blood of Jesus Christ heal me from every affliction of the enemies.

I command every satanic deposit in my body that is making me sick out in Jesus’ name, Oh Lord, let the blood of Jesus Christ flush every evil toxin in my body now.

Father, let the authority of Jesus Christ that rose Lazarus (John 11:38-44) raise every suitable dead cell in my body now.

(1 Samuel 2: 8) Oh Lord, you lift the poor from the dust and place them to sit among the King. Heavenly Father, I am tired of this situation; lift me out of poverty for greatness.

Heavenly Father, I destroy every stumbling block holding back in Jesus’ Name. I cleared all obstacles before with the fire of God in Jesus’ mighty name.

I cut off every chain, tying me to a particular spot in Jesus’ mighty name by the fire of God.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I receive speed for greatness, excellence, and prosperity.

I command every arrow of backwardness out of my life. No more stagnant action in Jesus’ mighty name.
